Learn bike repair skills and pass them on to others! Join the Bike House for a New Volunteer Orientation and learn how volunteering works -- no experience needed.

At The Bike House, we teach people how to fix their bikes at public clinics and (during non-covid times) small-format classes, which are entirely run by volunteers. Some volunteers start with bike repair skills, but many of us got our mechanical start right here, so beginners are welcome.

At this orientation, we'll get to know each other and go over our co-op's policies and how volunteering works. Meet outside the loading dock at Petworth Ace Hardware at 11:30am for this informal, 30-minute outdoor orientation.

Our clinic starts immediately after the orientation, so you're encouraged to stick around and start volunteering (or shadowing) the same day. The outdoor clinic will run from 12-3pm.

Safety note: Masks are required at the orientation and for clinic volunteers. While our space is outdoors, distancing is not always possible when teaching bike repair.
